Four people were killed in a road crash at Kutupalong Transit Camp in Ukhia Rajapalang Union of Cox’s Bazar as a dumpster truck collided head-on with a CNG-run auto rickshaw.

The incident occurred at around 10 pm on Tuesday. Identities of the deceased could not be known yet, said officer-in-charge (OC) of Ukhia Police Station Sanjur Morshed.

He said, a dumpster truck carrying sand was heading to Teknaf. It collided head-on with a Ukhia-bound passenger auto rickshaw leaving four people dead on the spot.

The bodies have been recovered from the spot, he added.
